Creative Assistant at Quentin Jones Studio

Opportunity to assist filmmaker and artist, Quentin Jones, based in Clinton Hill Brooklyn. I work broadly across the creative advertising spaces, creating multimedia videos, as well as handmade collage illustration pieces for brands and beyond. I have been developing a new limited edition art brand, which is my main focus now.

The Role

This role is largely to help manage and grow this new chapter for the business. I am launching an art brand- specializing in tapestry, ceramics and lighting. I am seeking someone to assist both creatively, but also with a variety of production tasks, and helping to build the brand online and on social.

I am hoping to find someone that can grow with the new brand, and lead future assistants and help expand the team when it's time.

Responsibilities

Research and development of brand designs.

Maintain organized project files and documentation

Assist with inventory logistics.

Maintain studio organization and maintain a clean work environment

Photography of new works for the brand, as well as for external clients.

In the longer term, there will be events to plan, and press to liaise with.

To work in my studio in Brooklyn but also remotely at times.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience in working across different creative mediums.

Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and ideally with video editing skills.

Must be organized with clear and efficient communication skills

Must be happy across the board, while the team is small.

Must be passionate about art, design and lifestyle.

Art school background isn't required if relevant work experience has been sought since graduating.
