Aiston Fine Art Services, an expanding fine art transportation, logistics, and storage company, is seeking skilled, responsible, and experienced candidates for Art Handler positions.

Part-time will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Handle, prepare, and install fragile and valuable art objects.
• Work in various environments including warehouse, truck, and offsite locations.
• Oversee paperwork, labeling, and record-keeping.
• Ensure proper handling and packing of art objects.
• Install and deinstall artwork on location.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an art handler.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Knowledge of art handling, packing procedures, and installation.
• Presentable appearance.

Preferred Qualifications (Higher Starting Wage):

• Ability to drive a box truck, with knowledge of ELD and DOT regulations.
• Minimum of 1 year as a lead art handler or crew chief.
• Experience with condition checking artworks (Articheck preferred, but not required).
• Experience in managing other handlers and leading on-site teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and clients.
• Conduct site specs.

Compensation:

• Pay is based on past employment, experience, and references.
• Weekly pay.
• Overtime paid after 40 hours per week. Most employees average 40-50 hours weekly.
• Performance review and potential for pay increase after six months.

Work Schedule:

• Typically 8 AM to 5 PM, with some exceptions.
• Weekend work and out-of-state travel available, but not required.
