Ryan McGinley Studios is seeking Spring interns to begin April, 2025.
The optimal candidate possesses a passion for their work, a desire to be in the studio, and the ability to work with a small team. The position will be overseen by the studio manager. Primary duties of the intern include but are not limited to: Assisting with pre production, production, and post production for the artist's work. Assisting the studio staff with various projects including administrative tasks, studio maintenance, processing digital files, video editing, archival tasks.
During this internship, one can expect to work closely with Ryan, aiding in the day to day operations of a highly active photo studio, sharpen their skills related to photo editing/retouching, video editing, and digital workflow. We try to provide opportunities for all interns to gain experience on set if/when possible. Interns gain experience in a creative environment and learn ways to push their own development as an artist.
Strong problem solving and communication skills are crucial. Proficiency in the adobe suite is crucial.
One or two days per week.
