Company Agenda is a PR agency specializing in the arts, design, and non-profit sectors. We partner with a diverse roster of clients, including galleries, cultural institutions, artists, designers, and mission-driven organizations. Our work is rooted in creativity, collaboration, and a deep engagement with culture. The Role

We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic individual with 2-3 years experience in PR, design, art, or related fields. The ideal candidate has a strong interest or background in the arts, design, and non-profit sectors, with a working knowledge of contemporary art. Familiarity with the visual arts media landscape, including active contacts with art market writers, critics, and publications, is favorable. 


Candidates must demonstrate strong written, verbal, and organizational skills. The ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, work independently, as well as collaboratively in teams and with clients is a must. This role requires strategic thinking and exceptional client service skills, as well as experience managing colleagues, working with media, and developing and editing press materials. Salary commensurate with experience.


Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain targeted media lists and journalist contact information.
  • Proactively pitch press releases and story ideas to national, regional and trade journalists across print, broadcast and online.
  • Coordinate interviews and editorial meetings between clients and key media contacts. 
  • Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients.
  • VIP and celebrity outreach for our client events.
  • Attend and support client events, openings, and other media-facing opportunities. 
  • Create, implement, and manage press campaigns, contributing creative ideas and strategies. 
  • Develop and edit press materials including press releases, pitch letters, media alerts, fact sheets, images, talking points, and presentations. 
  • Experience in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus.
