Studio Assistant

Seirup Design Studio is a small, fast-paced decorative art studio specializing in high-end custom finishes and interior applications. We're looking for a reliable, organized, and hard-working Studio Assistant to join our team and help support day-to-day studio operations as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in fabrication, packaging, and general studio operations
• Maintain studio cleanliness and organization
• Handle materials and tools with care and efficiency
• Lift and handle objects up to 60 lbs.
• Work on your feet for full 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and supervisors
• Courier samples from our Brooklyn studio to our clients in Manhattan

Requirements:

• Fluent in English
• Highly organized and punctual
• Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable with physical labor and long periods of standing
• Fine art and/or fabrication background

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

• Secondary education in art, fabrication, or a related field (BFA or BA preferred)
• Decorative plaster and painting techniques
• Sculpture or fabrication experience
• Woodshop and hand tool proficiency
• Basic QuickBooks or bookkeeping knowledge
• Adobe Photoshop
• CAD
