About the Role:

As a Dementia Care Companion, you’ll provide personalized care and engaging activities to enhance the well-being of clients living with Dementia or Alzheimer’s. Your support will foster a safe, comforting environment while promoting dignity, connection, and quality of life.

What You’ll Do:

Engage clients in creative, stimulating activities to support emotional and cognitive well-being.

Assist with daily tasks, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care.

Provide mobility support and accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social outings.

Monitor health changes and communicate updates to the care team.

Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience caring for individuals with Dementia or Alzheimer’s.

Current COVID-19 vaccination (required).

Reliable transportation (preferred but not required).

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.

Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
