Paid Time-Off: TOP offers a flexible paid-time off plan which includes vacation, holiday, personal, and sick leave including 10 days paid vacation extended to first year employees, 5 personal days, and up 10 sick days on an as- needed basis.
Retirement: TOP offers participation in a 403b retirement plan with American Funds, with the organization contributing up to 6% salary match, based on the employee’s contribution. Eligibility to contribute begins immediately upon date of hire, with eligibility for the match after 6 months of service.
The Education Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the coordination and facilitation of educational programs for school and family audiences (K-12 field trips, family programs, and tours) and the public (events, public programs, virtual webinars, and classes). The Education Coordinator plays a large role in program administration by coordinating event registration, marketing efforts and logistics for onsite facilitation of programs. The education coordinator serves a key role in coordinating and facilitating K-12 school visits and family programs. As a member of education programming staff, the Education Coordinator works to support programs and events with a team of 10 contracted educators that attract a diverse range of participants of all ages, backgrounds, and interests.
Primary Duties
Works Tuesday-Saturday schedule except for in July and August when role transitions to Monday-Friday for summer youth program coverage; must be able to carry chairs and tables (around 30lbs), walk longer distances during outdoor programs, and work outside in all seasons.
Supervisory Duties
Oversees workshop leaders and occasional contracted educators and program volunteers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Salary: $40,000-$45,000 commensurate with experience
About the Organization: The Olana Partnership (TOP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization whose mission is to preserve and interpret Olana, Frederic Church’s artistic master work comprised of 250-acres of designed landscape; a Persian-inspired house and studio; and a historic farm complex. TOP operates Olana State Historic Site in a cooperative agreement with the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. Olana hosts more than 200,000 visitors annually and is a National Historic Landmark.
