Description

Filmmaker, performer, and artist Lily Baldwin is looking for an administrative assistant to join her team. The assistant will attend to tasks such as media management, website updates, newsletter formatting, and general tech support. The position requires an eye for efficiency, strong attention to detail, and technical proficiency.


Lily’s projects range across mediums, including documentaries, features, shorts, TV, podcasts, installation, and visual art. In addition to her studio practice, Lily runs a movement lab where she offers yoga/anatomy for the creative process (using movement to free the creative mind). The administrative assistant will be joining a warm creative environment to provide day-to-day support. The studio director will delegate tasks (variable depending on the project) that may include but aren't limited to: updating Lily's website, LinkedIn, and social media; tech support and media management; managing a bi-monthly newsletter; keeping the filmography up to date; invoicing; and copy editing various materials. 


Transparency, directness, follow through, and initiation are a must. Someone privy to the filmmaking and fine art industries with their feet in some combination of fashion/visual arts/dance/queer/tech are valued. Please note we are a flexible creative team – the ability to fulfill all of the above criteria is not mandatory for the right candidate. 



ADMIN ASSISTANT ROLE

  • General studio organization and task management through AirTable
  • Media management (Dropbox and Google Drive)
  • Website updates (Cargo / Squarespace)
  • Visuals for social media (Adobe Suite) 
  • Maintaining filmography and LinkedIn
  • Newsletter formatting (Mailchimp)
  • Copy editing
  • General technical support


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to establish priorities, take initiative, and meet deadlines
  • Clear communication and organizational skills
  • General technological saavy
  • Proficient in: AirTable, Google Suite, Dropbox, and Adobe Suite (preferred)
  • Experience working on the backend of websites such as Cargo or Squarespace (preferred)


EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
  • Experience working within arts administration or for an artist/art studio
