Description

Marlow Events is seeking a Driver to work alongside our catering and events team in our Red Hook, Brooklyn kitchen.


Key responsibilities:

- Pack, drop off, and set up catering orders around Manhattan and Brooklyn

- Run errands to pick up supplies and make deliveries between our kitchen in Red Hook and our other food establishments across Brooklyn

- Carry out various light manual facilities tasks including maintaining dry good storage and inventory

- Transport staff to and from off-site event locations

- Ensure transparent, respectful, productive communication across all teams


Relevant skills & abilities:

- A valid NY state driver's license and clean driving record is required for insurance purposes

- Experience maneuvering a mid-sized van in city traffic

- The ability to wear many hats and shift gears comfortably and consistently

- An eye for detail, and interest in improving and streamlining systems of operation


The Driver works part-time including early morning shifts, nights, and weekends, and should expect to occasionally work additional hours and on holidays. While performing the duties of the job, the Driver is regularly required to stand and walk; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. They must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
