Description
Hauser & Wirth is seeking a highly organized, creative, and detail-driven Marketing Coordinator to join our New York team. This role supports the execution of marketing campaigns for exhibitions, publications, and special projects, and plays an integral part in how we communicate our artists and programs to the world.
Temporarily reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Coordinator will collaborate across departments—Communications, Artist Liaisons, Sales, Learning, Publishing—and with colleagues on the global marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about modern and contemporary art with a strong foundation in marketing and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support planning and coordination of marketing campaigns for exhibitions and gallery initiatives in New York and other US locations
- Partner with teams across the gallery to maintain campaign timelines and ensure deliverables are met
- Draft design briefs and coordinate internal approvals
- Manage updates to third-party listings, catalogues, and internal calendars
- Help maintain the Hauser & Wirth website via CMS (Contentful) with timely, accurate updates
- Track and report campaign performance for senior leadership
- Update and build campaign presentations outlining strategy and impact
- Work closely with the Email Marketing Manager to draft and distribute email campaigns to global and segmented audiences
- Manage and monitor paid social media campaigns
- Ensure brand tone, style, and visual identity are upheld across all content and channels
- Organize and maintain marketing folders and assets
- Assist with event support, photography scheduling, and general marketing requests
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the arts, media, or luxury sectors
- Experience using a CMS (Contentful or similar); familiarity with HTML a plus
- Experience with Mailchimp or a comparable email marketing platform
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong project management abilities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Creative thinker with a proactive, collaborative mindset
