Custom Framing Sales Associate

Tribeca Printworks is seeking a full-time custom framing and fine art printing sales associate for our Soho location.

This is a customer service and sales position, not a production role. Please do not apply if you do not have professional framing experience!

You’ll be joining a tight-knit team of artists and craftsmen who are passionate about quality, creativity, and client care. We’re looking for someone with a can-do attitude who is eager to expand their existing skillset, grow with our studio, and become a trusted ambassador of our company and brand.

Our clientele includes professional and semi-professional artists, photographers, designers and collectors. Whether preparing work for exhibition, sale, or personal use, you’ll help clients realize their vision through thoughtful consultation and expert service.

Responsibilities include:

• Consulting with clients on custom framing and fine art printing solutions.
• Advising on materials and techniques: moulding, matting, hinging, glazing, and archival standards.
• Reviewing and adjusting client files in Photoshop (scaling, color correction, digital mockups).
• Becoming familiar with giclée printing terminology, paper types, and workflow.
• Assisting with trimming, packing, pickups, and general studio upkeep.

What We’re Looking For:

• Professional custom framing experience is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong understanding of framing materials, techniques, and archival best practices.
• Solid working knowledge of Mac OS and Adobe Photoshop.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple client projects.
• A team player who’s excited to grow, contribute, and represent our studio with professionalism and creativity.

Bonus if you have:

• Experience in a print studio, gallery, or art services environment.
• A background in visual art, photography, or design.
