About the Role
Stardust Arts is seeking a part-time Social Media Manager to lead the development and execution of a new, public-facing social media presence for Molly Gochman Studio. This role will focus on creating a distinct, artist-aligned account, separate from the artist’s current personal platforms. It combines strategic planning with hands-on content creation, with a focus on visual storytelling, thoughtful audience engagement, and alignment with the artist’s socially engaged, contemporary practice.
The ideal candidate will have professional social media management experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong understanding of the artist’s narrative and work, and the ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders. A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities are essential. About Molly Gochman
Molly Gochman is an artist and activist deeply engaged in social practice, focused on activating spaces for profound collective experiences. Her practice encompasses a diverse range of mediums including photography, sound, installation, and sculpture. Through these mediums, she often challenges and subverts conventional material boundaries to foster interaction, play, exploration, and meaningful dialogue. Molly frequently explores concepts encompassing human connection, environment, and community. Guided by the concept that "life leathers us," her work aims to both aesthetize and to reflect the passage of time through weather, wear, and change. Her practice continues to evolve with a desire to actively engage participants, inspire meaningful dialogues, find commonality, and discover shared human experiences. Her recent work includes the permanent installation of three Monuments to Motherhood sculptures at Medical District Park in Memphis, Tennessee. Additionally, a separate sculpture from the series is currently featured in a year-long exhibition at Prospect Park, Brooklyn, which began in May 2025. Molly’s work has also been exhibited at The Ukrainian Museum, NYC Parks Art in the Parks, NADA House, Lincoln Center, and Deborah Colton Gallery in Houston.
