JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Accommodate guest requests in a refined, thoughtful and efficient manner with the highest customer service standards in all interactions.
- Exude positivity and exemplify a friendly, engaging and outgoing nature to staff and guests alike
- Ensure smooth and careful baggage handling for all arriving and departing guests.
- Ensure the lobby, the corner of Wythe and N11th, bell closet and work areas as well as departmental equipment are clean and presentable at all times
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and working condition of departmental equipment/supplies
- Escort guests to hotel rooms and provide them with an overview of guest room, hotel services and amenities as requested
- Make deliveries to guest rooms
- Assist guest with room changes
- Maintain a close relationship with the Front Desk and Management teams of the various outlets
- Coordinate with Door and Security teams to control the flow of the lobby as well as direct guests and visitors to the correct places both within the hotel
- Practice safe work habits
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends and alternate shifts
POSITION BASIC SKILLS AND DEMANDS:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent phone and communication skills
This role will cover Overnight shifts and some PM shifts
