Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 2 days per week commitment, 8 hours per day
Position Overview
The EFA Studio Program is seeking an enthusiastic and committed intern to join our fall 2026 internship program. This internship offers the chance to work directly with artists as Artist Assistants and contribute to the creation of exhibitions and dynamic programs as Administrative Interns. This is an opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of a multi-faceted, non-profit arts space while learning about contemporary art and arts administration. Successful candidates will be amiable, adaptable, professional, social, and confident. Interns should be comfortable working as part of a team, working well with direction, and feeling confident to share their own insights.

The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts (EFA) is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to providing artists across all disciplines with space, tools, and a cooperative forum for the development of individual practice. We are a catalyst for cultural growth, stimulating new interactions between artists, creative communities, and the public. EFA Studio Program is a juried membership program that maintains 95 artist studios in midtown Manhattan, offering a professional arts community and fostering career development for member-artists.
