Position Title: Executive Assistant to Artist & Studio Director
Location: Brooklyn, NY (In-person + Remote)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, with occasional evening or weekend availability as needed

Position Summary
Esteemed Brooklyn-based artist studio seeks a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable Executive Assistant to support both the Artist and the Studio Director. This is a hybrid role combining personal and administrative responsibilities across the artist’s personal and professional spheres. The EA will play a critical role in ensuring smooth studio operations, day-to-day logistics, and organizational clarity across the team.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, intuitive, and capable of managing a range of tasks while maintaining the highest level of discretion and professionalism. A background in the arts is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Manage calendars, appointments, and travel logistics for both the Artist and Studio Director
- Maintain to-do lists and ensure follow-through on scheduling, communications, and reminders
- Draft, format, and edit correspondence, presentations, and documents
- Organize and maintain shared digital files (Google Drive, Dropbox, Art Logic) and contact databases, etc.
- Monitor studio inbox and flag priority communications
Personal Assistant Duties
- Run errands, coordinate deliveries, manage household vendors, and order supplies
- Keep studio and home environments tidy, well-stocked, and guest-ready
- Support with event planning and hosting responsibilities for studio gatherings or openings
- Book appointments and reservations as needed, etc.
Studio Operations
- Support photo and video documentation of studio activities
- Assist with archiving and cataloging artworks in coordination with the Studio Director
- Coordinate with fabricators, galleries, and institutional partners as requested
- Assist with packaging, shipping logistics, and inventory updates
- Place orders for materials and other essential items
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative or operations support role, preferably in an arts or creative setting
- Deep organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
- Proactive communicator who anticipates needs and follows through
- High level of discretion and trustworthiness in handling confidential information
- Technologically savvy; proficient with Google Workspace, Dropbox, project management tools, etc
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-output environment
- A warm, collaborative attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed
- Familiarity with studio practices, galleries, or institutions
