Position: Sales Associate – West Coast Development
Location: New York, with frequent travel to the West Coast

Overview:
Pierre Yovanovitch Mobilier, the furniture and lighting brand by renowned French architect and designer Pierre Yovanovitch, seeks a dynamic, results-driven Sales Associate to lead and grow our presence on the U.S. West Coast. Based in New York, this role is focused on developing new business, cultivating relationships with key trade professionals, and managing the full sales cycle—from project inquiry through delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead West Coast sales efforts, including client acquisition and relationship management with top interior designers, architects, collectors, and industry professionals
- Represent the brand through personalized in-gallery tours, external presentations, and trade events.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, prepare quotes and invoices, and manage sample requests.
- Maintain a detailed and organized sales pipeline; meet and exceed sales goals.
- Track active orders, coordinate production timelines, and liaise with logistics to ensure smooth deliveries.
- Collaborate closely with the internal team in Paris on production and design customizations.
- Regularly travel to the West Coast for in-person meetings, relationship development, and event participation.
- Contribute to showroom upkeep, including sample library management and product education.
Qualifications & Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in luxury sales, account management, or client services within furniture, interiors, or related design fields.
- Outstanding communication, hospitality, and organizational skills.
- Can be both a strong team player and work independently and proactively
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-touch clients and complex sales processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM tools required; experience with quoting/invoicing systems preferred.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, InDesign, or Business Central is a plus.
- Fluency in English required; French language skills a bonus, but not required.
