About Us

Our goal is to create magical enrichment experiences for kids by utilizing youth development principles and the power of fun and play. We implement our original Splat Lab™ and Anthropology Arts™ curriculum in schools, after-school programs, and run our own camps.

Following a strategic restructuring in 2024, we are poised for renewed growth. Our focus is on enhancing quality and pursuing sustainable expansion by bringing on board experienced professionals. In 2025, we are relaunching our summer camp and are highly focused on improving operations.

Our Curriculum

Splat Lab is a hands-on enrichment program that combines Play, Art, STEM, and Creativity to create engaging learning experiences for kids. Each session features interactive activities like spider puppets, splat silly putty, rainbow snow, slime, and cup castles. Splat Lab combines Montessori principles, experiential learning, youth development, and Universal Design for Learning. Our Anthropology Arts curriculum focuses on cultural history by creating artifacts such as Egyptian canopic jars, Chinese dragon robes, and Incan llamas.

Our Core Values

  • Make Magic. We create magical and fun experiences for kids throughout NYC and beyond.
  • Dream Big. For the future of Splat and ourselves.
  • Collaborate. We co-create and build relationships with youth, clients, and each other.
  • Culture. We teach the history of underrepresented communities in a joyful, powerful, and holistic style with a diverse teaching staff.
  • Outliers. We embrace the weird and stand out from the pack with our unique programming and elite operations execution.

About You

First and foremost, all Splat Lab staff must be fun and playful. You are the type of person who is on top of every detail—nothing gets past you. You can handle the nuances of complex material inventory, automation and scheduling software, NYC geography, and the complexities of NYC schools. You enjoy problem-solving and figuring out ways to ensure our program implementation is not just good but spectacular.
