Fine Art Advisor / Sales Associate

VFA is an art gallery focused on showcasing the next generation of groundbreaking artists and honoring the lasting influence of modern visionaries. Our curated collection appeals to seasoned collectors and the global art community alike. VFA serves as a vibrant space where innovative creativity sparks meaningful dialogue, connections, and opportunities.

We're a fast growing gallery and looking for someone to grow with us! As a sales associate you will be responsible for the below:

• Promote and sell artwork
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with collectors and artists
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue goals
• Stay informed on contemporary art trends and emerging artists
• Attend art gallery events and exhibitions
• Assist in creating immersive art experiences for clients
• Maintain records of sales, inventory, and client communications
• Provide expert advice to clients regarding art history and artists
• Compensation is hourly plus sales commission

Additional skills and qualifications:

• 5+ years of prior work experience in the art industry
• Available both weekdays and weekends 11am-7pm
• Well versed in modern/contemporary art
• Proactive and comfortable working independently
• Familiar navigating Art Galleria, Artsy, and ArtNet is a plus
• Proficient in Gmail and Google Drive
• Proficient in Excel and Canva
