We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented intern to join our team at Second Name, a photo agency representing a diverse roster of artists across photography, styling, and set design. This internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of art, fashion, and commercial photography.
Intern Duties:
SOCIAL MEDIA
● Organize and manage digital assets for Instagram.
● Crop and edit images to meet each platform’s visual and technical standards.
● Draft social copy aligned with agencies standards
● Assist in curating content calendars and scheduling posts
MARKETING
● Assist with asset tracking and archiving across artist campaigns.
● Help maintain and organize our digital asset management systems, ensuring consistency and proper usage.
● Compile and update new contact lists from agents, clients, and collaborators for use in Flodesk and Lookbooks.
● Learn and update artist assets on our website platform (The Mode), ensuring timely and accurate file uploads.
● Monitor basic content performance metrics to provide insights and assist in content strategy planning.
PRODUCTION
● Support creative production by preparing assets for shoots, such as mood boards or call sheets.
● Assist on set as needed, including handling equipment, coordinating logistics, or client support.
● Track vendor reports and help allocate production-related expenses across active jobs.
● Keep production kits, office gear, and supplies organized and replenished.
ADMINISTRATIVE & GENERAL SUPPORT
● Contribute to the daily operations of the agency, including filing, organizing, and other office management tasks.
● Take on ad hoc assignments and assist team members across departments when needed.
Qualifications
● Strong organizational and time management skills.
● Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
● Reliable, punctual, and highly self-motivated.
● Works well independently and in a collaborative team environment.
● A genuine interest in photography, fashion, and visual culture.
● Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
● Bonus: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and CMS platforms.
This candidate should be available to commute to our office 2-3 days a week for an 8-week period.
Internship hours will be 12 PM - 5 PM and up to 15 hours per week.
