Description

Josh Brown Studio is hiring a Studio Painting Associate to support the prep and execution of our studio painting projects. This is a hands-on role for a skilled painter — someone who works fast, tidy, and brings genuine craft to the brush.


You'll work alongside the studio on active projects, handling everything from prep through applied painting. We're looking for someone who can keep pace in a working studio without letting quality slip, and who takes pride in clean, accurate work.


The work

  • Prepping surfaces, materials, and the studio ahead of painting
  • Executing painting work to the studio's standard
  • Holding consistency and accuracy across pieces and over the life of a project
  • Keeping the studio organized and project-ready


What we're looking for

  • Exceptional brush handling — control, precision, and a steady hand
  • Speed — you move quickly without cutting corners
  • Consistency — your tenth piece matches your first
  • Accuracy — careful, detail-driven, and reliable
