Position Summary
The Foundation Manager serves as the secondary administrator and operational lead for the Milton
Resnick & Pat Passlof Foundation, overseeing the Foundation's facility, collections, archives, exhibitions,
and day-to-day operations. This position requires a highly organized and adaptable professional capable
of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Working closely with the Executive Director, the Foundation Manager helps to ensure the Foundations
mission of preserving the legacies of Resnick and Passlof as well as supporting other artists through its
programs. The programs include exhibitions, poetry readings, panel discussions and music concerts.
Essential Responsibilities
Facilities & Building Operations:
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of the Foundation's building and exhibition spaces.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable building, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Registrarial Management:
• Manage the Foundation's physical and digital inventory of artworks, publications, and records.
• Oversee artwork movement, storage, condition reporting, packing, transportation, and installation.
Exhibitions & Public Programs:
• Coordinate all logistical aspects of exhibitions including transportation, installation and deinstallation
• Coordinate logistics for lectures, performances, readings, and special events
Qualifications
• Experience working in Galleries or Museums
• Experience working with collections management, registrarial practices, and exhibition coordination.
• Knowledge of artwork handling, packing, shipping, and loan procedures.
• Strong digital asset management and database administration skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
