Graphic Designer / Marketing Assistant

Description

We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer and Marketing Assistant to support our sales, marketing and PR goals. This position works collaboratively with our Creative Director to ensure that our brand is represented consistently across multiple channels with inspired assets. This role requires an organized individual with a refined design sensibility who can work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

Assist our Creative Director on content strategy, product launches, campaigns and marketing schedule.

Develop and execute materials that communicate our brand vision consistently across all our channels.

Create and update digital and printed marketing and sales support materials such as product cut sheets and lookbooks.

Update our website with images, copy or marketing materials for new and existing collections.

Create and implement email marketing campaigns.

Manage and maintain our email marketing platform with updated leads and graphic templates.

Track and update work on 3rd-party sales platforms such as 1stDibs.

Implement direct client email outreach campaigns.

Create and execute Instagram content to support marketing, sales and PR calendar.

Engage in regular comment correspondence and monitor social media messages.

Organize and maintain our image library.

Minor photo editing and color correction of imagery.

Assist with photoshoots and photoshoot planning and prep.

Skills & Qualifications

Sophisticated design and layout sensibility.

Experience in the design industry is a plus.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Organized and focused with intense attention to detail.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to content calendars across email, social media and events.

Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator and Lightroom.

Experience with Squarespace web platform preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word.

Schedule and Pay

$25 - $35 / hour commensurate with experience

This is a part-time position at this time with the potential of full time at a future date.

Hours are 10am to 6pm, three days per week. Schedule can be flexible if needed.
