About the Role
A prominent, globally renowned Los Angeles based artist is seeking a thoughtful, organized, and highly skilled Studio Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of an active fine art studio in Los Angeles. This is a part-time, in-person position ideal for someone with a strong studio painting background, excellent organizational instincts, and a genuine interest in contemporary art, painting, and studio practice.
The Studio Assistant will support both the administrative and hands-on needs of the studio, helping maintain a smooth, efficient, and professional working environment. The role requires someone who is proactive, discreet, detail-oriented, and comfortable moving between practical studio tasks, material preparation, and painting-related assistance.
Studio Assistant must have a background in painting.
This is a unique opportunity to work closely within a dynamic artist studio and contribute to the daily rhythm of a growing, multidisciplinary practice.

Qualifications
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is calm, capable, and proactive, with a strong understanding of how an artist studio functions. They are equally comfortable cleaning brushes, organizing inventory, preparing materials, responding to emails, packing shipments, and supporting the studio team with whatever is needed that day. They should be highly respectful of the artist’s process, able to maintain discretion, and excited to contribute to a thoughtful, ambitious, and evolving studio practice.
