This two-part online program is designed to help artists of all disciplines who seek to pursue an artistic career and remain in the United States.

Are you an immigrant artist who wants to know more about your legal options for staying and working in the United States? NYFA’s Immigrant Artist Resource Center (NYC) is presenting two, pay-what-you-wish online events with immigration attorney Michael Cataliotti to help you understand your legal options and answer your questions live. Immigrant artists are encouraged to attend one or both sessions.

Understanding Artist Visas: Options for Immigrant Artists and Entertainers

Immigrant artists who reside within the New York City Metropolitan area are invited to join immigration attorney Michael Cataliotti for an overview of the legal options for immigrant artists, entertainers, and entrepreneurs who seek to pursue an artistic career and remain in the United States. 

This program will cover the most frequently utilized non-immigrant artist visa classifications and pathways to immigration, followed by a live Q&A from the audience. The session will focus on some of the most common legal issues encountered by immigrant artists who reside within the New York City Metropolitan area. Artists of all disciplines are welcome to join.

Understanding Artist Visas: Your Questions Answered

Join immigration attorney Michael Cataliotti for a town hall style discussion/Q&A on legal options for international/immigrant artists, entertainers, and entrepreneurs who seek to pursue an artistic career in the United States.

In this program, Cataliotti will review some of the frequently asked questions for artist visa and immigration process, and answer questions live from the audience. Whether you are currently in the U.S. or are looking to enter the country, you’ll walk away with a clearer sense of the immigration process and what you can, or cannot, should, or should not do when pursuing a visa. Artists in all disciplines are welcome to join.

About Michael Cataliotti

Michael Cataliotti, Esq. is an attorney who has worked with and advised businesses from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, as well as prominent athletes, artists, entertainers, and entrepreneurs, such as international media conglomerates, BMG North America, Music at Work B.V., Lena Erziak, CB Insights, BotFactory Inc., and Soley Beverage Group.

A graduate of Hofstra University and St. John’s University School of Law, Cataliotti specializes in advising individuals and entities from such industries as sports, music, fashion, film, television, art, sciences, and technology about how to reach their respective corporate and immigration goals.
