GREENWICH ART SOCIETY ANNUAL JURIED EXHIBITION

EXHIBITION DATES: MAY 6, 2025 TO JUNE 8, 2025

NOTIFICATION OF JURYING RESULTS APRIL 18, 2025

Digital Entry is open to all members and non-members. Works are not eligible if previously accepted for one of our juried exhibitions; if they have been exhibited in the Bendheim or GAS Galleries; or if completed before 2022.

ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS:

* Online Entry March 1st thru April 7th, 2025, via Entrythingy.com.

* Entry fees must be paid via PayPal through Entrythingy.com. 

* A non-refundable fee of $35.00 first piece entry and $25.00 for up to 2 more entries.  

Multiple entries from the same artist must be submitted at the same time to take

advantage of the lowered additional entry fee.

* Accepted artwork posted online GreenwichArtSociety.org on April 18th, 2025.

* Artwork drop off Saturday May 3rd and Sunday May 4th from 2-4 PM.

* Submitted work must be attractively and appropriately matted, framed, and presented.

* Works NOT on stretched canvas MUST BE FRAMED. Frames for stretched canvas

paintings are not required.

* Size: Wall-hung works are limited to a 5' height & 5' width including frame & must be

dry & wired securely for hanging.

* Freestanding sculptures are limited to 8' in height mounted and 12' square floor area.

Sculptors must provide bases if needed & must secure small works firmly and install

difficult-to-handle pieces. Works not meeting these requirements will not be accepted.

* All works must be for sale. If a portrait, the price of a similar commission must be

stated. No PORs.

* The Bendheim Gallery reserves the right to final approval of the selection of artwork for

the exhibition. Entry fees will not be returned if the gallery chooses to remove a work

from eligibility for exhibition.

* Exhibition opens May 6th, 2025.

* Reception date TBD.

* Exhibition closes June 8th, 2025.

* Artwork pickup Monday, June 9th from 4 – 8 PM

and Tuesday, June 10th from 11-2 PM and 5-8 PM.

CATEGORIES: Painting: Oil, Acrylic, Drawing, Pastel, Watercolor, Sculpture, Photography, Original Digital Art, Fiber Arts, Other Media (printmaking no digital prints of original or AI-generated artwork.)

ARTWORK IMAGES: G.A.S. will produce an online digital, virtual gallery of ALL exhibited works.

AWARDS: Cash and other awards totaling over $2000 will be presented at the closing reception TBA. The juror will also do a walk & talk tour of the exhibition on reception date TBA.

LIABILITY: Although care will be taken, neither the Greenwich Art Society, the Arts Council nor the Town of Greenwich will be responsible for loss or damage. Entry constitutes agreement to this condition.

SALES: 30% of each work sold as a result of this exhibition will be divided between GAS & the Bendheim Gallery.

For more convenient entry, artwork for inclusion in the exhibition will be selected digitally using EntryThingy. Accepted artwork only will be brought to the gallery for the exhibition which will be live and in person.

Accepted artwork drop off will be at Bendheim Gallery, 299 Greenwich Avenue 2nd Floor on SATURDAY, MAY 3 between 2pm-4pm and SUNDAY, MAY 4 between 2pm-4pm

Detailed instructions will be sent to accepted artists via email. NO SHIPMENTS OF ARTWORKS ACCEPTED. WORK MUST BE HAND DELIVERED IN PERSON.
