The Skidmore Department of Art is seeking applications for its Work + Space Residency Program for Fall 2025. The Work + Space Residency Program hosts an emerging artist for a 3-week residency (approximately October 31st – November 21st, 2025) to make new work, have a one to two week solo exhibition in the Schick Gallery that commences at the end of the residency, and engage with students through a lecture, studio visits, workshop or other project. Preference will be given to artists with recent MFA (completed within 5 years), or equivalent exhibition record, persons from under-represented groups and / or diverse experiences who can contribute to a culture of diversity.
