treat gallery HQ is pleased to announce our annual summer open call for 2026: NOT YET!
This year, treat gallery celebrates 10 years of operation and we are inviting artists to submit original artwork exploring the theme “2026” and how we’re halfway through the year. Whether it be a reflection, prediction, question, warning, hope, memory, or vision connected to the months before or remaining. What has 2026 meant to you, and what remains? A cultural shift or milestone? A future imagined through abstraction, narrative, technology, environment, identity, or place?
NOT YET! is intentionally open-ended, and all visual art mediums are welcome. We encourage artists to interpret this theme expansively and creatively. 8-12 artists will be featured in a curated, online exhibition of small-format works on our website and Artsy, and 3-6 artists will be invited to exhibit with us during Affordable Art Fair NY.
Important Dates
30% of sales will be donated to a nonprofit chosen by the artists (it's in the application.)
treat gallery has a proven track record of helping others through contemporary art. Our mission extends beyond the gallery walls; we are passionate about supporting the community and contributing to meaningful causes. To this end, we donate a portion of our sales from every project, art fair, portfolio review and partnership to nonprofits and charities in need, aligning our success with a greater purpose. This past year, we've participated in Affordable Art Fair, Art on Paper and will continue to grow our reach by exhibiting at Seattle Art Fair in July.
Select Exhibitors from NOT YET! will be included in our booth during Affordable Art Fair NY in September 2026.
Community engagement is at the heart of what we do. Our commitment to affordability ensures that contemporary art can be enjoyed and acquired by all – we offer work and conversation for both a seasoned critic and first-time buyer. Treat yourself, treat others - treat gallery.
