Hudson County Executive Craig Guy and the Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs/ Tourism Development is seeking applications from qualified artists for two public art projects.
Public Art Project #1- Figurative Sculpture Artist– Qualified artists to design, fabricate, and install a figurative sculpture as tribute to members of the armed services who served in Operation Desert Shield, Operation Desert Storm, The Gulf War, and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq to be installed in Stephen R. Gregg Park in Bayonne.
Public Art Project # 2- Stained Glass Artist– Qualified Artists To Design, Fabricate, And Install A Hudson County Themed 10′ X 15′ Stained-glass Window For Permanent Display In The Honorable Frank J. Guarini Justice Complex In Jersey City.
