- Immigrant Artist Mentoring Program
- NYFA/NYSCA Artist Fellowship
- The Profitable Artist Book
This statewide program offers 40 nonprofits a combination of tailored advisory services and financial support over eight months, to help overcome a self-identified barrier to their growth or sustainability. The program is administered by NYFA and the New York Council of Nonprofits, with funding support from the New York State Council on the Arts.
Organizations are paired with a consultant who specializes in their area of concern, whether that be governance, marketing, fundraising, strategic planning, or something else.
The Executive Director at each org is paired with a coach to support their holistic leadership development.
Every organization undergoes a comprehensive assessment to determine its current lifecycle stage, and appropriate strategies to continue on its growth trajectory even after the program ends.
At the conclusion of the program, organizations are eligible to receive up to $10,000 to invest directly in their continued stabilization.
Organizations must be based outside of New York City and have an annual operating budget of less than $1 million. Rural and BIPOC-led community-based organizations are strongly encouraged to apply.

Since 2013, NYFA Learning has supported the careers of arts administrators from over 300 arts and culture organizations in the New York City area and around the state by providing professional development that is tailored to the challenges of this vital profession.
NYFA believes that investing in cultural infrastructure improves the sustainability and success of arts organizations, and ultimately builds stronger connections between artists and administrators, which benefits the entire field. The programs particularly support administrators of color, and organizations which are BIPOC-led, community-based, or rural. Programs are application-based and offered free to participants who are selected by panels of expert colleagues in the field.
