Art Studio for Rent in the Picturesque South of France
Are you looking for an inspiring space to create this summer? I’m offering my recently renovated art studio in the charming medieval town of Lauzerte (82110),
Located in the breathtaking south of France. Available from April through September (other dates negotiable), this space is perfect for artists (and teachers) of all disciplines seeking a retreat to focus on their work.
The studio is NOT for living in, but we do have an apartment with a pool across the street that may be available at additional cost. (last 3 photos)
About the Studio
- Two floors: The top floor features a brand-new wood (OSB) floor and opens to the backyard patio.
- The ground floor has a concrete floor.
- Facilities: Each floor is approximately 700 square ft
- Bottom floor has slop sink
- Back yard has the toilet and small sink
- There is no air conditioners (as with most buildings in the town) The stone structure keeps the ground floor significantly cooler (passive cooling)
- I have lumber and can help build sculpture stands easels and the like to suit your needs
- Shared ($45/day per person) or Private ($143/day), one week minimum

- Nearest airport is in Toulouse where you can rent a car or taxi.
- Alternately the train stop is in both Moissac and Cahors (I like to fly to Paris and switch to either train). In Cahors or Moissac you can take a bus or rent a car or taxi to Lauzerte
