Handwriting the Constitution
Handwriting the Constitution is a social art practice begun by artist Morgan O’Hara to bring people together to handwrite the United States Constitution. It was created so that people will know their rights, deepen their understanding of laws created to protect these rights, and help resist negative thinking too easily generated in the current political climate. Begun in 2017, the practice is expected to run until January 2021. To date approximately 500 people have participated.
