Pioneer Works is seeking an experienced Rentals and Corporate Partnerships Manager to oversee the planning and coordination of rentals, and coordinate corporate sponsorships with the Development team to meet organizational revenue goals. The Rentals and Corporate Partnerships Manager must be a self-starter, as will manage all rental inquiries, lead tours for potential clients, draft contracts, and work closely with the events, technical production, and development teams at Pioneer Works. Maximizing space rental income, AV rental income, managing security and personnel is crucial to success in this role. The Manager will be the main point of contact and the on-site representative during events and will work closely with clients to ensure that events run smoothly, requiring weekend and evening event management.
This is a full time position with corporate benefits and paid vacation, holidays, etc.
Manage rental inquiries (phone and email) via system
Develop and maintain partnerships and manage client/corporate sponsorship relations
Schedule and perform walkthroughs with potential clients
Serve as the main point of contact for clients (including donors)
Liaise between event/production staff and clients
Act as site manager from load-in through load-out (including opening/closing facility)
Generate own leads for event rentals and sponsorship
Draft contracts and negotiate pricing on behalf of the venue
Book vendors like security, cleaning, garbage collection (as applicable)
Serve as operations manager day-of, liaise with our client while at the venue, and fully reconcile events and manage expenses
As an ambassador to Pioneer Works, strong interpersonal skills, in addition to excellent writing and communication skills, are a must
Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail; ability to multi-task
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite/Google Documents
Ability to work weekends and after hour events
Relationships with potential clients
