More funding options, free consultation services, and exclusive workshops are some of many benefits of NYFA Fiscal Sponsorship.

2018 is just around the corner, and there’s no better time than now to reminisce on the past year and re-imagine your arts project or organization reaching new heights.

NYFA Fiscal Sponsorship supports all art disciplines, increases access to support from government, foundation, corporate entities, and individuals, and optimizes fundraising potential. Apply by the December 31, 2017 deadline—there is no fee to turn in your application!

How Does NYFA Fiscal Sponsorship Work?

More funding options: NYFA Fiscal Sponsorship allows artists and organizations to utilize our 501©(3) tax-exempt status to apply for grants that are usually restricted to nonprofit organizations. Fiscal Sponsorship also allows individual donors to receive the incentive of a tax-deduction. In the last fiscal year,* NYFA Fiscal Sponsorship earned $4,485,783 for artist projects and organizations. With diverse access to various funders, government entities such as New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) contributed over $500,000 to our sponsored projects/organizations. Private and public foundations such as the Aaron Copland Fund, The Shelley and Donald Rubin Foundation, The Ford Foundation, City Parks Foundation, and the The New York Community Trust also contributed over $2,000,000 to support our fiscally sponsored projects/organizations. That’s a lot of funding!

Participation in the program also gives you the opportunity to attend exclusive workshops and gain connections to a wide-ranging network of artists and organizations.
