Hilary Bettis (Fellow in Playwriting/Screenwriting ‘13)
New Georges in collaboration with The Sol Project present ALLIGATOR, a world premiere play by Hilary Bettis and directed by Elena Araoz.
When: November 27 – December 18, 2016

Shari Mendelson (Fellow in Crafts/Sculpture ‘97, ‘11)
Using recycled plastic, Mendelson creates work that references the legacy of past civilizations while addressing modern issues of sustainability. See her first solo show in Tribeca at Todd Merrill Studio.
When: Opening December 14, 6-8 PM, exhibit runs until January 13

Mary Tooley Parker (Fellow in Folk/Traditional Arts ‘15)
See textile artist, Mary Tooley Parker’s work at the Associate Artists Group Exhibition on view at Julio Valdez Project Space for one month.

Warren Lehrer (Fellow in Printmaking/Drawing/Artists’ Books ‘88)
Lehrer will present a lecture/performance of A LIFE IN BOOKS in conjunction with the exhibit The Book as Stage: Performance and Theater in the Book Arts.

Ronna Wineberg (Fellow in Fiction ‘04)
Wineberg will be doing a reading from her new collection of stories, Nine Facts That Can Change Your Life.

Judith Bernstein (Fellow in Printmaking/Drawing Artists’ Books ‘88)
Feminist Avant–Garde of the 1970s, is an expansive exhibition comprising forty-eight international female artists and over 150 major works from the VERBUND COLLECTION in Vienna. The exhibition highlights groundbreaking practices that shaped the feminist art movement and provides a timely reminder of the wide impact of a generation of artists including Bernstein.
When: October 7, 2016 – January 29, 2017
