#ArtistHotline, For All Artists, Everywhere on February 17

Ask your Professional Development Questions on Twitter

Next Wednesday, February 17, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM, NYFA staff will be tweeting for our monthly #ArtistHotline Artist Professional Development Day. This tweet chat is dedicated to providing free online support to artists working in all disciplines. All artists are welcome! Ask a question, share your experience, provide feedback to other artists, and learn about new resources. We are regularly joined by approximately 40+ partnering organizations around the world.

Last month, we talked to artists about self promotion, email marketing, artist collectives, and how to identify online audiences. What topics will come up this month? That’s up to you.

Artists: If you don’t already have a Twitter account, create a free one now and include the hashtag #ArtistHotline in your related tweets and questions. Follow @nyfacurrent for updates.

Arts Organizations: If you’re interested in partnering with us for this initiative, learn more and sign up here.

Follow the conversation under the hashtag #ArtistHotline now.

Inspired by the NYFA Source Hotline, #ArtistHotline is dedicated to creating an ongoing online conversation around the professional side of artistic practice. #ArtistHotline occurs on the third Wednesday of each month on Twitter. Our goal is to help artists discover the resources needed, online and off, to develop sustainable careers. This initiative is supported by the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation.
