#ArtistHotline Returns on November 18

All Artists, All Disciplines, Everywhere, Save the Date, and Join Us on Twitter to Talk about Professional Development

#ArtistHotline, NYFA’s monthly Artist Professional Development Day returns on Wednesday, November 18. Join us and 40+ partnering organizations around the country to ask questions, share resources, and learn how to take the next step in your artistic career. NYFA will be tweeting from @nyfacurrent from 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM EST.

Ask us:

  • about organizations and resources in your area;
  • funding opportunities for your project (for New York artists, we’ll be sharing information about our Artists’ Fellowship program, which currently has open applications!);
  • how to build relationships with venues;
  • how to write an artist statement;
  • and more…we’re here to help!

Artists: If you don’t already have a Twitter account, create a free one now and include the hashtag #ArtistHotline in your related tweets and questions. You can also follow the conversation on #ArtistHotline on November 18 and follow @nyfacurrent for updates.

Arts Organizations: If you’re interested in partnering with us for this initiative, learn more and sign up here.

Inspired by the NYFA Source Hotline, #ArtistHotline is dedicated to creating an ongoing online conversation around the professional side of artistic practice. #ArtistHotline occurs on the third Wednesday of each month on Twitter. Our goal is to help artists discover the resources needed, online and off, to develop sustainable careers. Please join us on November 18!

This initiative is supported by the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation.
