Event | First Thursday Gallery Walk

Join us Thursday, April 5 for DUMBO’s monthly First Thursday Gallery Walk!

It’s officially spring! Celebrate the new season with us at DUMBO’s monthly First Thursday Gallery Walk on Thursday, April 5. During the first Thursday of every month, the galleries of DUMBO stay open late, hosting special events and receptions. Participate in the gallery hop and see us at NYFA Gallery, where we’ll be presenting Feral Visions: An Exhibition of NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship Finalists and a 6:30 PM poetry reading by Asiya Wadud (Finalist in Poetry ‘17).

Feral Visions, curated by David C. Terry and Madeline Scholl, celebrates the artists who were recognized as 2017 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship Finalists. Each of these artists were selected by the 2017 Fellowship Review Panel and NYFA celebrates their work through this exhibition. 2017 Finalists were recognized in the following categories: Crafts/Sculpture, Digital/Electronic Arts, Nonfiction Literature, Poetry, and Printmaking/Drawing/Book Arts.
