Join us on Facebook Live on Friday, January 19, 2018, to learn more about the NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship.
The application deadline for 2018 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowships is approaching! If you’re thinking about applying, or have questions about the application process, mark your calendars for Friday, January 19 from 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM for a special info session and Q&A on NYFA’s Facebook Page.
Gabriella Calandro, Program Officer, Fellowships/Curatorial, will give a short presentation about the application process and will answer your questions in real time through Facebook Live. The seminar will follow the format of this information session, which was held on Facebook Live in November.
The NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship is offered in fifteen different disciplines over a three-year cycle period. The NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship is not a project grant; it is intended to fund an artist’s vision or voice, regardless of the career stage of their artistic development.
The 2018 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship categories are:
- Folk/Traditional Arts
- Interdisciplinary Work
Applications close on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, 11:59 PM (EST)
NYFA is pleased to announce that the name of this award has changed to NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship. NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowships are administered with leadership support from New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
