Free workshop will take place at NYFA’s Brooklyn office on Wednesday, October 10.

The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) is pleased to invite you to a free workshop based on NYFA’s newly-revised second edition of The Profitable Artist (Allworth Press, 2018). In our “Fundraising Basics for Artists” presentation, you will have the opportunity to meet and hear from The Profitable Artist contributors Mark Rossier, Director of NYFA Grants, and Barbara Toy, Senior Officer, Individual Giving and Special Events. Rossier and Toy will discuss important topics from the book related to individual donors, fundraising events, fiscal sponsorship, grant research, and writing. This interactive session will feature presentations, Q&A, and a chance to mingle and learn more about NYFA over light refreshments.
