Monday Motivation | Navigating Networking

Kick off your week with Monday Motivation!

Tip of the week

Are crowded, noisy rooms the last place you want to establish meaningful connections with other professionals? This week’s tip is a reminder that you can create networking opportunities better suited to your personality. If a one-on-one discussion over coffee is more effective for you, set one up! Think through scenarios where you feel the most comfortable interacting with other professionals and re-create those opportunities where you can. You don’t need to attend every networking event. Explore your preferences and needs and find what works for you so that you are putting your efforts into creating opportunities that will benefit you.
