Monday Motivation | Stay Social

Kick off your week with Monday Motivation!

Tip of the week

At the beginning of a professional relationship, try to get to know the person you’re meeting. Ask lots of questions and don’t forget to exchange information and promptly send a ‘nice to meet you’ note. If you’ve identified someone you want to reach out to via email that you haven’t met in person, first see if you know someone in common. A common connection who can make a warm introduction will increase the chances that the recipient will respond. When you do reach out, keep the email short and to the point. Mention why you’d like to connect and days and times that might work for a meeting. These steps will facilitate the connection you’re hoping to create.
