Monday Motivation | That’s a Great Question!

Monday Motivation | That’s a Great Question!

Kick off your week with Monday Motivation.

Tip of the week

Most job interviews end in a familiar way: the employer will ask, “Do you have any questions for us?” Be prepared for this moment so you can further highlight your strengths, your prior research on the employer, and your interest in the position, as well as learn more about whether the work environment is right for you. You can ask questions, like, “If hired, what’s the most important thing I should accomplish in the first three months?” or “What are this position’s prospects for professional growth and advancement?”

You may also want to ask who the ideal candidate for the position is, and how your skillset/experiences compare. This gives the interviewer a chance to share specifics about who they are looking for, and gives you a chance to speak to any relevant qualifications that have not already come up. To keep your questions simple and to-the-point, avoid using multi-part questions; just ask about one topic at a time.
