NYFA CURATOR PRESENTS FELLOW HEATHER HART AT FLUX ART FAIR

Contemporary Art Fair & Curator/Artist Discussion with NYFA’s David C. Terry and Artist Heather Hart

As a guest curator for the FLUX Art Fair, NYFA Director of Programs and Curator, David C. Terry, will be presenting the work of artist Heather Hart (Fellow in Crafts ‘09). The art fair is open May 14 – 17 (Vernissage is May 13) and you are welcome to join David and Heather for a discussion on May 16.

Over 50 local Harlem and international artists will present paintings, photographs, works on paper and installations at Harlem’s newly renovated Corn Exchange Building conveniently located next to the 2/3 and the 4/5/6 trains and the Metro North.  For those of you checking out FRIEZE, FLUX Fair is only a ten-minute cab ride from Randall’s Island.

Opening Reception: Wednesday, May 13, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
General Admission: Thursday – Saturday, 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM & Sunday 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Curator Tour: Saturday, May 16, 3:30 PM

David C. Terry joins featured artist Heather Hart for an engaging discussion between artist and curator, along with an exploration of his selections from the FLUX Art Fair open call for artists.
