Sustainable Practice Workshops with NYFA’s Director of Programs and Curator

David C. Terry, NYFA’s Director of Programs and Curator, will be leading two professional development workshops for artists in New Orleans next week. 

Artist as Entrepreneur: Core Principles for
Building A Sustainable Practice
workshops provide a basic framework for individual artists looking to sustain their artistic practice including an overview on goal-setting, financial awareness, marketing and building relationships, fundraising, presenting your work, and emergency planning. Artists will be asked to consider their own short and long term professional goals in light of these principles, and will learn about the various resources and services available to help them. These workshops are geared toward artists working in all disciplines looking to take the next step in their professional career.
