NYFA’s Emerging Leaders Boot Camp featured in NYC Media

“I learned the difference between being a good manager and a good leader”

NYFA’s Emerging Leaders Boot Camp was recently featured in the Inform-NYC Career series that provides city residents with information on free training programs. Watch current participants Xenia Diente, Rachel Feinberg, and Casey York speak about the value of being in the year long program, which concludes in January 2015. NYFA’s Boot Camps for art administrators train emerging leaders in the principles of leadership, including strategic planning, fundraising, and marketing. With an additional focus on personnel, board development, defining a mission, and managing relationships with artists. The series, produced by NYC Mayor’s Office of Media & Entertainment, airs on NYC Life on Channel 25 and NYC Taxis.

As part of our programming for emerging leaders, applications are currently open for NYFA’s Arts Business Incubator program, which offers three years of support to creative non-profit and for-profit start-ups in New York City. Follow the campaign for ABI on Twitter under #artsbizinc
