About Fountain House Gallery

Fountain House Gallery is located in Hell’s Kitchen on 48th and 9th Avenue and shows the artwork of artists with mental illness. The gallery sells original artworks and collaborates with a wide network of artists, curators, and cultural institutions. They work with artists who are emerging or established, trained or self-taught and provide an environment for them to pursue their personal visions and to challenge the stigma that surrounds mental illness. All their artists are encouraged to exhibit in other venues and they work with them to develop outside exhibition opportunities and to promote themselves to new audiences.

This presentation is part of NYFA Learning, which produces a variety of professional development programming, including evening workshops, intensive boot camps, and individual consultations. Learn more here and sign up for our free bi-weekly newsletter to stay informed about upcoming programs.
