October 16 online workshop will take you through the process of sharing your art with your audience and stakeholders.
The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) is pleased to offer an opportunity for artists of all disciplines to participate in its new online workshop series. The series, which debuts on September 25 with “The Fundraising Landscape: Making Fundraising Work for You,” will expand on topics covered in NYFA’s newly-revised second edition of The Profitable Artist (Allworth Press, 2018) and continue with “Marketing for Artists in the Digital Age” on Tuesday, October 16. Mara Vlatković, contributor to the marketing chapters of The Profitable Artist, will lead the workshop.
How do you start building an audience? Where do you concentrate your marketing efforts to make them the most effective? How do you market yourself and your art with authenticity? This workshop will cover social media and email marketing, and will highlight (often completely free!) tools you can use to develop a dedicated following. Informed by The Profitable Artist, you will learn how to understand your audience, build marketing goals, and make the most of your own time and resources. Meet presenter Mara Vlatković below.
