The film What is your tree? — produced by Art21 as part of its “New York Close Up” series — documents artist Shana Moulton (Fellowship, Interdisciplinary Work, 2012; Emergency Relief Fund, 2013) and composer Nick Hallett reheasing and performing their collaborative, one-act opera, Whispering Pines 10. The opera is being staged at the New Museum of Contemporary Art as part of the Rhizome New Silent series.
