Artist News: Compendium at Islip Art Museum
“Compendium details the interchangeable qualities of art and science. This exhibition considers artists that are planted in both disciplines, offering the Islip Art Museum and their visitors a survey of art and the artists that drive the conversation.”
Beth Giacummo (MARK ’09) and Lorrie Fredette (MARK ’09) co-curated Compendium for the Islip Art Museum. Compendium also features work from Brandon Ballengée (Fellow in Interdisciplinary Work ‘15), Gianluca Bianchino, (IAP ‘13), Phil Hastings (MARK ’11, Fellow in Video/Film ’12), Travis LeRoy Southworth (Fellow in Photography ’10) and Werner Sun (MARK ‘12) .
