Artists News: Snow and Arts

Another work week is almost over and we are expecting a lot of snow in New York this weekend. 

Our NYFA affiliated artists have exhibitions, events and shows in many different neighborhoods around the city this weekend. So, put your snow boots on and make your way to the art spaces listed below. And those of you who are lucky enough to spend the winter on the beaches in Florida and California have no excuse to miss out on the events in those states!

Albert Paley (Fellow in Crafts ’91)
As part of Art Palm Beach his new specialty Corning glass and Kovar sculptures will be shown by Habatat Gallery in booth #105/107.

Ellie Irons (Fellow in Interdisciplinary Work ‘15)

Guerrilla Girls (Fellows in Performance Art/Emergent Forms ’88)
Were invited to the Late Show with Stephen Colbert where they talked about the History Of Art vs. The History Of Power.

Coco Fusco (Fellow in Nonfiction ’91, ’14)
Has a solo show at the contemporary art gallery Alexander Gray Associates. There will be  screenings of her seminal videos c including her latest installation Confidencial, Autores Firmantes (2015).
